|The CL-1 institutes provide a scholarly environment in which NISE fellows recruited from across the nation plus UW-Madison-based CL-1 team members intensively explore a topic of national importance in consultation with colleagues at the National Science Foundation and in the college STEM teaching community. The products of CL-1 institutes are designed to be resources that faculty find useful in their efforts to enhance learning in higher education STEM classrooms.|
