METRO DIRECTIONS TO NSF
From Union Station: Union station is located on the "red line"; NSF is on the "orange line". If coming from Union Station, the traveler will need to take the "red line" from Union Station to Metro Center and then get off and catch an "orange line" train that reads "Vienna." Upon boarding the "orange line" train to Vienna (Vienna is the end of the line and the traveler SHOULD NOT GO TO THE END OF THE LINE); he/she should get off at the Ballston Metro stop.

NSF is less than one block away from the Ballston metro stop. Elevator access from/to both tracks of the Metro "orange line" is provided at the corner of Fairfax Dr. and N. Stuart Street. NSF building access is suggested along the sidewalk on N. Stuart Street (see Building Access Map). For street level entrance to the building, please use the door at the corner of 9th and N. Stuart Streets.

From National Airport:
National Airport is on the "blue" and "yellow" lines. You would take "blue" line to the Rosslyn transfer point and catch an "orange" line train that reads "Vienna." Stay on "orange" line until Ballston Metro stop.

From Dulles Airport:
There is no train station at Dulles Airport. A shuttle bus will have to be taken to the Vienna Metro station. From Vienna to the Ballston stop is about 5 metro stops.
