Co-author (with Bill Hinsberg, IBM Almaden) of Chemical Kinetics Simulator (CKS), a program package with extensive documentation and demos distributed via the Web under a no-cost license from IBM. CKS is a general purpose, easy-to-use, reaction kinetics simulator program that enables scientists from student to rofessional level to carry out accurate simulations of many types of chemical systems. It has been available since May 1996; approximately 10,000 copies have been downloaded by people in academic, industrial and government labs in 90 countries. We actively maintain and support the package, and have written several other kinetics simulators that are in use for research and development inside IBM.
