I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in materials science and engineering at Lehigh University, including electrical and magnetic properties of solids, thermodynamics and statistical mechanics, and structure and properties of amorphous materials. I also chair the MRS Subcommittee on Accreditation, serve as an ABET evaluator for Materials Science and Engineering, and represent MRS as an observer on the ABET Board of Directors. From 1975-1993 I worked as a research scientist and manager at in Physical Sciences at IBM Research.
